Obituary of Mary Ellen Coughlin

Mary Ellen Coughlin, 89, of Morris Township, New Jersey, passed away on February 23, 2022 at Morristown Medical Center after a brief illness.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Mary Ellen moved to Parsippany, where she lived for 45 years and then to Morris Township, where she has resided for one year.

Mary Ellen was a Homemaker and parishioner of St. Christopher’s Church in Parsippany.

Mary Ellen is survived by her cherished nephew, Stephen Yannotti and his wife, Rose, and adoring great-nieces, Siena and Sarah Yannotti.

Mary Ellen is predeceased by her beloved husband of 57 years, John Coughlin (2013) and devoted brother, Salvatore Yannotti (2017).

A Funeral Mass will be held for Mary Ellen on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 9:30 am at Notre Dame of Mt. Carmel Church, 75 Ridgedale Avenue, Cedar Knolls. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
