Celebration of Life
Obituary of Daniel T. Morrison
Daniel T. “Dan” Morrison
Dan was a loving husband, Dad, Poppy, brother & friend to many. He was always the most sarcastic person in the room and loved everyone that he ever came in contact with. He enjoyed spending time with his family the most. He loved vacationing with his family in Aruba & would get the whole clan of nieces/nephews together for trips to Cape May, Hershey, Wildwood & Florida. He always stayed busy working outside on the house & the yard, but he especially enjoyed teaching the kids his ways & putting them to work. He was an avid golfer (who unfortunately spent more time in the woods looking for his ball than on the fairway) and loved to play with his friends, brother, brother in-laws, sons & co-workers. Dan will be loved, remembered & missed by all who knew him.
Daniel T. “Dan” Morrison, 62, passed away on February 28, 2022 at his home in Randolph surrounded by his family and loved ones.
Born and raised in Morristown, Dan resided in Boonton before moving to Randolph 28 years ago. Dan graduated from Morristown High School, and then went on to earn his Business degree from Montclair State University in 1981. He was also a CPA.
Dan worked as Senior Vice President for Pearson Publishing in Upper Saddle River for 29 years.
Dan is survived by his loving wife of 39 years and high school sweetheart, Sandra W. Morrison. He is also survived by his devoted children, William P. Morrison & Carly V. Cento of Manhattan, NY, Eric M. Morrison & Kristen N. Morrison of Sayreville, NJ, and Nichole F. Morrison & Spencer W. Stephenson of Nashville, TN; his dear siblings, Sherry & Skip Ninni of Netcong, NJ, Steve & Shanon Morrison of Westfield, NJ, Lorrie & Dan Chletsos of Denville, NJ, and Joanne & Charlie Onorevole of Sparta, NJ; as well his in-laws, Bob Walton of Staunton, VA, David & Esther Ann Walton of The Villages, FL, and Candy & Bernie Coll of Mine Hill, NJ; his cherished grandson, Liam Robert Morrison; his numerous (21) nieces and nephews; and his dogs, Bailey & Bear (he would never admit it, but they were his favorite yappy dogs).
