Obituary of William T. Retcho
We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of our beloved brother, Bill. He was born August 17, 1963, in Far Rockaway, NY, to Rose and William. He grew up in Linden, NJ. He is predeceased by both parents and his brother, Dennis. He is survived by his siblings: Denise, Steven (Dawn), Robert (Cathy), Elizabeth, Kevin, John (Beth), Lisa and Elaine, several nieces, nephews, cousins and uncles. He was a dear friend to Rick and Trish. Bill also leaves behind his beloved pets: Rhino, Princess and Blackjack.
Bill was a Department Manager for Acme Supermarkets the past several years and was previously employed by A & P and Foodtown.
Bill will be remembered for his love of nostalgia, especially old tv shows, visiting casinos and diners, spending time with family and friends and his loyalty to the New York Mets.
As Bill was quick to lend a hand to a homeless animal, we ask that you honor his memory with a donation to a local animal shelter or rescue group.
Family and friends are welcome to gather on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 from 5 pm to 8 pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at 10:30 am at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Iselin.
