Obituary of Harry E. Frain, Jr.

Harry E. Frain, Jr., 89, passed away on March 25, 2022 at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando, Florida after a short illness. 

Born in Manhattan, NY, Harry resided in Morris Plains, NJ for 26 years before moving to Orlando, FL 40 years ago. 

He owned and operated a New York Times newspaper delivery service in Manhattan, NY, before he retired in 1983. 

Harry was also a member of the Elks Lodge and Moose Lodgae, both in Orlando, FL. 

Harry is survived by his loving companion, Joanne Carpenter; and his children, Harry E. Frain, III. (Jean), of Portage, MI, Bridget M. Cirillo, of Morris Plains, NJ, Linda Frain, of Hellertown, PA, Maryanne Krincek (Vincent), of East Stroudsburg, PA, Kathleen Mohr (David), of Port St. Lucie, FL, Shawn Frain, of Hamburg, NJ, Dolores Nicol (John), of Cresco, PA; his step-children, Lynn Plotkin, of Orlando, FL, Elizabeth Corvino (Theodore), of Florham Park, NJ, and Robert P. Rigby (Leslie), of Pocono Pines, PA; and his sister-in-law, Cherie Frain, of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by his 27 grandchildren, and 33 great-grandchildren. 

Harry was predeceased by his first wife, Bridget Monica Frain (nee Redmond) in 1971, his second wife, Mary Elizabeth Frain (nee Engle) in 2012; his brother, Cliford Frain; his sons, James P. Frain and Kevin T. Frain, and his sons-in-law, Anthony Cirillo, and Richard Plotkin. 

A Memorial Mass for Harry will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 10:00am at St. Virgil's Church, 250 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains. (The family be will be receiving guests before Mass from 9:15-10:00am at the Church.) Inurnment of Ashes will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. 

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in memory of Harry may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
