RIP to a great person and a better friend. Nick was my college dorm mate at Bloomsburg and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to be sharing a room with. Nick was always good for a laugh and was always down to be boys. Throughout the rest of our time at Bloom together we shared many laughs and developed a great friendship.
I’m honored to say I knew Nick and he will surely be missed.
My thoughts and prayers to your family.
Love you K’s, I’ll miss ya buddy.

I had the the absolute pleasure of being Nicks nurse for numerous shifts. Although having only known him for a short period of time, he was such an inspiring and wonderful soul. It is people like Nick that allow me to love my profession that much more. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. May his soul rest in peace.

Nick was the sweetest childhood friend I could wish for my oldest son Connor. At OLM preschool and Pre-K they became fast friends, having their birthdays just 18 days apart. For awhile they were inseparable. Such an expert at karate at an early age, Nick impressed us all with just how long he was able to hold a karate pose! The muscles on him at 4,5 and 6 years old were amazing! One of the most touching things I remember Nick doing was trying to sooth Connor’s baby sister Shannon when she was upset. He went out of his way to find and give her his black Pound Puppy and that made everything ok. That quickly became her go to lovie because “Nyk” gave it to her ❤️. She kept that until she went away to college. Such a heart Nick Lucchesi …you and your kindness and generosity will always be remembered.

In memory of Nicolas and our sincere condolences to the Lucchesi Family.
"Nick" I think we only met once or twice briefly but felt I knew you as your dad always spoke of you during the good times and then during the years of your fight with illness. There could never be a father and family that were more concerned and supportive.
I received a text from dad on Saturday afternoon about your passing. Here is my response:
Bob, I'm sure it was a shock to you and the family that Nicolas had passed especially after the conversation we had earlier in the week. You had indicated that you were trying to have "Nick" transferred to Atlantic Rehabilitation and he was for it. He gave it a valiant fight every minute, hour and day. Bob you and the family did everything possible to support his fight. It's not going to be easy so let us know if there is anything we can due to support the family during these difficult times.
Our prayers are with Nicolas and the family. GOD SPEED
Jimmy, Manny, Danny and me.

My sincere condolences to Nick's family.
I have gotten to know Nick as a colleague. Through our work together, he always radiated kindness, patience, and compassion for his colleagues and patients. He took pride in helping people and could find a solution for any problem. He took the initiative and his presence and help was always palpable. Nick's positive outlook on life motivated me and people around him to be better versions of ourselves. He will be greatly missed, not only as a colleague, but also as a great human being who impacted many of us in a short time we had shared together.
Rest in peace, Nick!

Nick was beyond one of the kindest and greatest people I've ever gotten to know. He was incredibly helpful and enjoyable to speak with. He made working at MSK enjoyable. I wish I had the opportunity to meet him in-person. But the fact that he could have made such an impact on me for a short period of time and just by phone calls is a testament to his character and the wonderful human being he was and will always be. I'm so sorry for his loss and send my deepest condolences to his family and friends. He will be forever missed and honored in our memories.

Lucchesi Family,
I am so sorry for this hurtful loss. I met Nick as a new OC at MSK and he was always so helpful to me. I would often call him with questions and if he didn't know the answer he would find out for me. He never seemed annoyed by my questions and always seemed eager to help, despite what he was going through in his personal life. He was truly the nicest person and he will be missed. I will pray for the family at this time.
Best,
Anikah Harris
