Obituary of Linda A. Offer

Linda A. Offer, 58, passed away at Overlook Hospital, Summit, New Jersey on April 27, 2022. She was born in Englewood, New Jersey, and resided in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey, prior to moving to Summit 25 years ago.

Linda graduated from Ridgefield Memorial High School and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Douglass College (Rutgers University). She worked as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) at Hackensack University Medical Center. Linda was a parishioner of St. Teresa of Avila Parish, Summit.

Linda is survived by her devoted husband, Douglas J. Offer, and her loving children, Elizabeth Offer and Eric Offer. She is also survived by her caring sisters, Christine Ricci, of Ellicott City, Maryland, Barbara Bellin, of Perinton, New York, Joan Palazzola and her husband, Danny, of Tuxedo Park, New York, and Nancy Battinelli, of Centerville, Massachusetts. In addition, she is survived by her nieces, Stephanie Parmer, Jennifer Giannini, Katharine Offer, Lauren Palazzola-Guinchard, Allison Battinelli, and her nephews, David Ricci, and Peter Battinelli.

Family and friends are welcome to gather on Monday, May 2, 2022, from 4 pm to 8 pm and Tuesday, May 3, 2022, from 4 pm to 8 pm, at Burroughs, Kohr and Dangler Funeral Home, 106 Main Street, Madison, New Jersey. Masks are respectfully requested for all guests, regardless of his or her vaccination status. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at 10:45 am, at St. Teresa of Avila Parish, 306 Morris Avenue, Summit, New Jersey. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery, Airmont, New York.
