Barbara Orfini posted a condolence

If we believe in our faith, then we have no choice but to believe that this beautiful woman, wife, mother, and friend is in a better place. I do believe in the greater power and through the unimaginable grief we need to find the slightest comfort in that. Yet, the unbearable pain and loss for those she left behind will last forever as Jerry and Kaitlin try to painstakingly move on because that is what we have to do. That being said, it's so important to hang onto the memories, knowing that every one had it's laughter and tears. Bringing up my daughter Juli with Kaitlin and Barbara and Jerry always somewhere in our lives, I just want to share one memory of so many with you. It has to be the one where our girls went on a Girl Scout camping trip in the woods. If anyone knows beautiful Kaitlin, these girls were not prepared to "rough" it. I think they were expecting a hidden Marriot. So, Barbara had given the girls a cell phone which was totally prohibited hidden in their suitcase. After Katie called for "help", Barbara picked up both the girls despite the troop leaders objections and camp protocol. She would not let her little girl be unhappy and made sure that mine went along for the escape. That was the mother that Barbara was and that is one of so many more testimonies of her love of family. The devotion of her husband Jerry is a testament to the sacrament of marriage. So, I apologize for the length of this, but I only scratched the surface of what could be written. Barbara, rest in peace and please watch over all of us from heaven. I am grateful to have known you, and will pray to you everyday for the strength that you had.
