Beloved Jane S. Wishbow passed peacefully from her earthly body on May 11, 2022 at her home in Mendham Township, NJ, surrounded by her loving family. She was 98. Jane was born on October 8, 1923, in Jersey City, NJ, to Joseph and Bernadine Stehr. She was one of eight children.

Jane attended the College of St. Elizabeth in Convent Station, NJ. At the age of 21 she married the love of her life, Alexander J. Wishbow (1922–1989). They were married forty-four beautiful years. In the early years of their marriage, Jane and Al lived in Italy with their first-born daughter Joan, where Al served as a medical doctor in the Navy. They eventually settled down in Mendham Township, NJ, where Jane continued to live for 60 years.

A dedicated, loving wife and mother, Jane is survived by her six children who live in NJ: Joan Horning (husband Anthony Horning 1945-2018) Mark Wishbow, Greg Wishbow (wife Nancy), Mary Beth Wishbow, John Wishbow and James Wishbow (wife Brenda). Her descendants also include ten grandchildren: Christine, Anthony, Melissa, Katie, Alexander, Jim, Alexandria, Bethanne, Rebecca, Zachary and seven great grandchildren.

A deeply caring and spiritual person, Jane’s life was spent helping others especially through prayer.
