Ronald Spirig, 74, of Morris Plains, NJ, passed away suddenly and peacefully at his home on May 12, 2022.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, Ron attended Midwood High School and Brooklyn College. He went on to serve in the United States Army as a cryptographer during the Vietnam War.
Ron enjoyed a career spanning decades in telecommunication sales at multiple firms before retiring in 2012. After retirement, Ron served as Eucharistic Minister at Morristown Medical Center and St. Virgil's Church in Morris Plains.
Retirement gave Ron a chance to pursue his many hobbies, including golf, Yankees baseball, military history, travel, and the many home projects that gave him such joy.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Louise Spirig; devoted sons David Spirig and John Spirig, John's dear wife Lauren Spirig, and beloved grandchildren Luke Spirig and Zoey Spirig.
