Theresa DeSantis, 91, of Springfield, NJ, passed away at Morristown Medical Center on May 15, 2022.
Born in Newark, NJ, Theresa resided in East Orange, NJ before she moved to Springfield, where she has lived for the past 30 years. More recently, Theresa was a resident of Sunrise Assisted Living in Madison.
Theresa graduated from East Orange High School in 1948 and went on to work as a Retail Fashion Buyer with Allied Stores in New York City.
Theresa was a devout Catholic and a faithful parishioner of St. James the Apostle in Springfield.
Theresa is survived by her brothers, Jack DeSantis and his wife, Gwendolyn, and Nicholas DeSantis, sister-in-law, Elaine DeSantis, 15 nieces and nephews, and a host of great-nieces and nephews.
Theresa is predeceased by her parents, Giacomo and Fioretta DeSantis, sister, Elia Bollo, brothers, Anthony DeSantis, Dominick DeSantis, brother-in-law Mario Bollo, and sister-in-law Rosalind DeSantis.
Funeral Services will take place at St. Teresa Cemetery, Summit and are private to Theresa's family.
Arrangements are entrusted to Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler Funeral Home, Madison.
