Obituary of Thomas A. Mezzino
A Generous & Kind Man – A True Gentleman
Thomas A. “Tom” Mezzino, 68, of Morristown passed away on June 9, 2022.
Born and raised in Morristown, Tom attended St. Virgil’s School and Bayley Ellard High School.
Tom held many jobs in his lifetime, which included the Morris County Clerk’s Office, and M&M Landscaping. Most notably, Tom was a “fixture” as a Bell Captain at The Madison Hotel for many years.
In his spare time, Tom enjoyed watching movies; eating out; and routing for his favorite local and professional sports teams.
He was also an avid guitar player and loved his coffee hour with the “Regulars” at The Korner Store.
Tom is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Lansing-Mezzino, of Morristown; his dear sister, Linda McGrady, and her husband, Pat, of Point Pleasant; and his cherished nieces and nephews. Tom was predeceased by his beloved parents, Fred and Veronica (Negri) Mezzino.
Visiting will be on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 10am – 12pm, with a Funeral Service at 12pm, at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains. Interment will be private.
