Obituary of Joan Mildred Sagarese

Joan Mildred Sagarese, 90, passed away on July 7, 2022 at her home in Whippany, NJ. She was born in Morristown, NJ, and lived in Whippany for the past 66 years.

Joan graduated from Morristown High School in 1949. She worked for First Fidelity Bank in both Morristown and Mendham, NJ as a Branch Manager for 15 years until her retirement in 1993. She was a member of the Church of Notre Dame, Cedar Knolls, NJ.

Joan is survived by her son, Joseph Sagarese and his wife, Nancy, Basking Ridge, NJ, and her daughter, Lynda Sagarese and her wife, Kate Quigley, Windsor, CT. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael A. Sagarese in 2016 as well as her brothers, Robert Johnson, Donald Johnson, and Richard Johnson.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a Funeral Mass for Joan on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at 10:00 am at Notre Dame of Mount Carmel Church, Cedar Knolls, NJ. Interment is private for the family.
