Obituary of Walter C. Ness
Walter Ness, of Harding Twp., passed away peacefully on December 8th at the age of 102.
A long-time resident of New Vernon in Harding Twp., he is survived by a son, a daughter, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Walter was a Navy Veteran of WWII in the South Pacific; an active in The VFW of Morris Plains; and a founding member of the American Legion Post in Whippany.
Walter worked for Bell Laboratories as a draftsman for 38 years. He is a graduate of Brooklyn Technical High School class of 1939.
Services will be held Friday, December 16th from 5:00-8:00 pm at Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler, 106 Main Street in Madison. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 17th at 11:00 am at New Vernon Presbyterian Church, Lee’s Hill Rd., New Vernon.
