She enjoyed many activities and was a member of the Diamond Hill Flower Club, Hackettstown Swim Club and The Red Hat Society.  Joyce’s summers were spent at the family’s lake house on beautiful Lake Hopatcong and all throughout the years, Joyce remained dedicated to being the best loving, single parent ever, to her children and then the best nana to her grandchildren.
