Obituary of Cecelia DelTufo

Cecelia Del Tufo of West Orange died Thursday January 19, 2023. She died peacefully with family present just twenty five days before her 100th birthday.

A Funeral Mass will be held in her honor at 9:30am on Tuesday January 24, 2023 at Notre Dame of Mt Carmel Church in Cedar Knolls NJ.  Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.

Born in Spokane, Washington. Cel lived most of her life in West Orange.  She was predeceased by her loving husband Albert Del Tufo, owner of Del’s Market in East Orange NJ.  Together they raised six children.

She is survived by her daughters; Francine Mangieri and husband Patric of West Caldwell, Janet Michetti and husband Louis of Cedar Knolls, and sons; Jerry Del Tufo and wife Joanne of Nutley and Michael Del Tufo and wife Alyce of Plainfield, 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  Two sons, Anthony Del Tufo of NYC and Albert Del Tufo Jr. (wife, Susan) of Vero Beach Florida predeceased her as well.

Arrangements are under the care of Dangler Funeral Home of Morris Plains, NJ.
