I am so sorry to read about Mr. Tessmer. I spent a lot of my childhood at his house and learned to swim there. I remember all those big fish tanks at his business office & home. Thank you for all those fun times.

This is difficult. The „ Boss „ was a really good human. He was raised on the wrong side of racism ( thus our split in communication ), but how one is raised can not be held them. I truly loved him. Like every person - good or bad traits- he was a Gentleman, a Prince ( as Loraine Sing mentioned) , one of the fairest people I’ve ever met.
I am an idiot that I didn’t say this to him before and say that I do love him. He always provided for us , and provided a wonderful house to grow up in. I would not be the fisherman today without him.
But the story of him having to break heavy and all the bluefish landed on his lap while driving is still the funniest. I miss you anyway !

Happy Heavenly Birthday Hank, you will be missed.
Thank you for being such a great special person. We will never forget the times we spent at Six Flags and the time that we enjoyed during the holidays.

Wir denken gerne an die Zeit zurück, als wir am Shongum Lake unsere Urlaube verbracht haben. Helmut war uns immer ein guter Gastgeber!
Es war war auch ein Erlebnis wenn Helmut gemeinsam mit Uschi nach Deutschland kamen und wir gemeinsame Zeit verbracht haben. Aufrichtige Anteilnahme der Angehörigen.

It was always a pleasure to spend time with Helmut at Shongum Lake, Helmut was always a great host. The German family was always excited to visit New Jersey, to see the American way of life.
It was also an experience when Helmut came to Germany with Uschi and we spent time together.

I remember meeting Helmut,many years ago whilst working at Llewellyn Farms,the Maitre d told me this man is a Prince,I always remember his words and how true they were, it was an honor and priviledge to be his friend for over 35 years.He will be greatly missed,Lorraine Sing

Sincere condolences to Todd, Marty, Susan and families. Helmut was such a kind, considerate, and generous man to so many. Many fond memories starting in Irvington right through to East Hanover. My brother Fred and Helmut were inseparable. No finer friend and best buddy. My family was blessed to have him in our lives. May he rest in peace.

What a wonderful tribute to your dad. Words cannot express the gratitude of the Klein family for all of the care, love and consideration Helmut gave to all of our family, but especially to my mom and dad. He provided a wonderful home and safe environment for them for many years. We all have very special memories of 286 Ridgedale. A life well lived. May he Rest In Peace..Penny Dudajek and family
