Obituary of Angela C. Schmidt

Angela Schmidt, 91, of Morristown, NJ and formerly of Niantic and Stamford, CT, passed away onThursday, February 9, 2023. 

Born in Newark, NJ to Dr. Joseph and Angela Clarken, Angela was a graduate of the Academy of St. Elizabeth and the College of St. Elizabeth. She enjoyed her professional work, but her focus and pride were her husband and five children. 

A woman of strong faith, Angela was a classically trained pianist, a voracious reader, and an avid walker.  

She is survived by her five children and eight grandchildren and preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Arthur Schmidt, and her siblings, Mary Louise Clarken, Joseph Austin Clarken, Jr, and Elizabeth Ann Clarken. 

Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 14 from 10am to 11:15am at Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler Funeral Home, 106 Main Street, Madison, NJ. Funeral Mass will follow at noon at St. Thomas More Church, 4 Convent Road, Morristown.
