Obituary of Patricia Ricciardelli

Patricia Ricciardelli (nee Crane), passed away on March 10, 2023.  Patricia was born in Orange, NJ in 1942 and later moved to Chatham Township.  She is a graduate of Orange High School who spent her early adult life raising her family.  She later worked at USF&G Insurance Company and then at the Golda Och Academy. 

Patricia married Manfred Ricciardelli in 1964.  They were married for 44 years, until Manfred’s passing in 2008.  Patricia is survived by her daughter Renee and son Manfred, along with his wife Catherine and Patricia’s granddaughters, Sophia, and Jessica.  She is survived by her brother, Bruce.  Her brothers William and Arthur preceded her in death.  She is survived by her sister-in-law Patricia as well as many nieces and nephews.  Patricia is also survived by Harry Moscatello, with whom she had a loving relationship later in life. 

Patricia enjoyed spending time with her family.  The family has great memories of vacations at the Jersey Shore and running back and forth between dance classes and sporting events.  She enjoyed dining out but was also a great cook.  Sunday dinner was always a particularly great meal.  For many years Patricia and Manfred hosted a family Christmas Eve Dinner which extended well into the night and was great fun for all.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, although perhaps she spoiled her granddaughters just a little.  She loved both of her jobs.  She enjoyed the work and the friendships she built with her co-workers.  She will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held at Burroughs, Kohr and Dangler Funeral Home, located in Madison, NJ.  There will be a viewing on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 from 6pm to 8pm and then on Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 10am to 10:30am with a brief service to follow.  Entombment will follow at St. Theresa’s Cemetery, Summit, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Lewy Body Society, which can be found at lewybody.org.
