Obituary of Irene Perinotti

Irene Perinotti, 92, of Cedar Knolls, N.J.  passed away on March 11, 2023.

Born in Newark, Irene resided in East Orange and Belleville for most of her life. In 1947 she graduated from Central High School in Newark, N.J.

Irene worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Newark Board of Education for 21 years, before she retired in 1990. In her spare time, she volunteered with the Women’s Auxiliary of St. Francis Xavier in Newark.

Irene decided to be closer to her family and moved in with her daughter, Deborah, in Cedar Knolls 12 years ago. She became a parishioner of Notre Dame of Mt. Carmel Church.

Irene is survived by her devoted children, Deborah Perinotti, and her husband, Kenneth Brunner, Guy Perinotti, and his wife, Elaine Mango, and John Perinotti, and his wife, Nikki Leon. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Jaclyn Brunner, and her husband, Matthew Lesneski, Kristin Segarra, and her husband, Fernando, Stephanie Montefinese, Michael Perinotti, and his wife, Danielle, Justin Perinotti, and his wife, Jackie, Eric Perinotti, and his wife, Jenelle, Alyssa Perinotti and her husband, Michael Feeks, and Cassi Deighan, and her husband, Daniel. Irene is also survived by her adored great-grandchildren, Matalyn, Lucas, Leo, Vienna, Ava, Gia, Dominic, Liam, and Kelly; and her beloved nieces, Patricia Fiore, Jacqueline Litto, Cyndi Fastert, and Lisa Kim.

Irene was predeceased by her husband John Perinotti, her parents, Eduardo Torricelli and Elvira Rubino, her sisters Yolanda and Helen Torricelli, and her brother Frank Torricelli.

Family and friends are welcome to gather on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 from 4-7 PM at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains, N.J. A Funeral Service for Irene will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, N.J.
