Obituary of Patrick J. Burke, Sr.

Patrick Burke, Sr, 89, passed away peacefully at home on March 30, 2023. He was born in Hawthorne, NJ, and lived in Morris Plains, NJ, for the past 23 years.

Patrick graduated from St. Peter’s College, Jersey City, NJ. He worked as a Sales Manager for Bergen Brunswick Corp., Pine Brook, NJ, for 42 years. He proudly served his country as a 1^st Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Medical Services, Corp.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Rosemarie Burke and his loving children, Lisa Robinson, and her husband, David, Patrick Burke and his wife, Sharon, and Steven Burke. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Brandon, Kayley, Colin, Clay, Lily, and Megan. He was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Claire.

Family and friends are welcome to gather on Sunday, April 2, 2023, from 4-8pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Ave, Morris Plains. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023, at 10 am at St. Virgil’s Church, Morris Plains, NJ. Interment will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery.
