My deepest sympathies for your loss. It is my hope that the family is able to gain some comfort in the scripture at 1 Peter 5:7 in which God invites us to throw all of our burdens and anxieties on him because he cares deeply about us.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Joan's passing - she was a friend and former colleague from my many years at Empire Blue Cross. The Empire family from the 80's remains close to this day so we would see Joan at many reunions. She was a great colleague with a wonderful sense of humor. I just saw her at Dave's wake and was hoping to catch up with her at our next reunion in the Fall. She will be sorely missed. Love and condolences to Carolyn and Donna. Peter and Ketty Liria
