Obituary of John J. Cammarata

John J. Cammarata, 65, passed away at his home on April 9, 2023. He was born in Newark, NJ. He lived in West Orange prior to moving to Whippany, NJ, 23 years ago.

John graduated from Mountain High School, West Orange, NJ, in 1977. He worked as a Printer/Platemaker for Thompson Printing Company, Plainfield, NJ, for 25 years. He worked for Hanover Honda for five years until his retirement in 2013.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Angela Marino, and his loving children, Jackie Amorim, Deerfield Beach, FL, Gina Cammarata, Piscataway, NJ, and Kristina Evans, Marietta, GA, as well as his cherished grandchildren, Enzo, Luca, Liliana, Kayden, Amelia, and Ricky.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 10:30 am at Holy Family Church, Nutley, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations may be made in John’s memory to St, Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org)
