I remember hiking with Martin and the Union County Hiking Club (Now Tri-State). Marty was a long-time member of the club, acting as president for a term and very supportive of the group and its activities. He had a good sense of humor and was interested in many things so was easy to talk to. Though I didn't canoe or bike with Marty and Carol, my late husband and I joined them at club gatherings, picnics, parties, photo nights, and (sigh) memorial services for many of the "old-timers," our mentors in the outdoor activities. It was a wonderful way of life, gone now or rather changed immensely. Remember the good times. Nancy Wolff
