I have worked with Anthony at Avis Budget Group for many years and was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. Anthony was very pleasant to work with, always helpful and was never seen without a smile. He was a great man and will be missed very much. I send my deepest condolences to his family during this difficult time.

What I love about Anthony:
Probably the smartest guy I’ve ever known. If you were ever going to argue with him, you’d better come prepared. When he was right, you would definitely know it and He was right a lot.
Probably the loudest guy I’ve ever know. In our many late nights of poker, he could be heard throughout the house. We were asked by patient wives to keep it down. To combat this he finished his basement and made the best hangout location ever and went on to host almost every poker night from the day it was finished.
He would give the shirt off his back for a friend, or maybe even a pair of sweatpants, right Ken?
He loved to be prepared. If you’ve ever barbecued with Anthony, you would understand just how prepared he always was. It didn’t matter if it was planned for weeks or minutes, everything was ready by the time the event started and would be perfect. And man, he was a great cook.
He could quote almost every line from his favorite movies. He loved to thrown in his favorite quotes at the most appropriate times in conversations. So here are a couple for Ant.
Brothers don’t shake hands, brothers gotta hug. Tommy Boy
I just want to go to the rooftops and scream, I love my best friend. Superbad.
And while we are there…
Fogel shut the hell up, and take off your vest, you look like Aladdin
There are so many special things about Ant that it is impossible to try to capture them in a few paragraphs. We will miss you very much, brother. And we will all be there for Kellie and Kyle.
Rest in peace.

Although Anthony was not my relative, he has always been my family. He came into my life and immediately became my uncle. Anthony always encouraged me and supported me in everything I did and I am so grateful to have gotten to know him. I remember coming down late at night when he’d be playing poker in our family room and if he came into the kitchen for a drink when I was clearly not supposed to be up he was talk to me and make me laugh. From when I was little to when he was making me drinks he always spoke to me like a friend, never an adult bossing me around, but a friend. He shared my passion for animals and we would talk about all the cool ones I got to work with and we would always laugh when Reggie went on another hunger strike. I have this picture from the first time we went to outer banks together with our friend family. I cant remember why I took this picture or why I kept it but it makes me happy to remember back to the Laughing Dolphin with Holly and playing corn hole inside. I also recently came across a video I took of Anthony playing corn hole; for those of you who don’t know Anthony was amazing at the game but had a very specific way of throwing the bag. His foot always lifted in the air when he released and that was a very special video to see. Thank you Anthony and Kellie for supporting me through my journey to vet school and for giving me the gift of being Kyle’s cousin. I promise to always share my stories of Anthony with Kyle and remind him how lucky we all were to know him. Although you may not be here to see all the amazing things Kyle will do, just know that you raised him to be this incredible little boy. I love you Anthony.

I heard so many great things about Anthony from my brother Houtan before I met him.
In the second year of college, Anthony encouraged me to room with him in the dorm and what a memorable year it was. Anthony’s one-of-a-kind humor and larger than life personality left a trail of memories, many of which I’ve been remembering and picturing, both with joy and also a heavy heart.
Anthony’s dynamic presence and his loyalty to his friends are among the legacies he left during his time. We will miss you so much, Anthony. Kellie and Kyle will always be in our thoughts and prayers.

Anthony and I met 30 years ago at Rutgers. That first look, I knew Anthony was special. Together, we learned a lot about life – being young spirited, appreciating each other’s cultures, connecting through music (Yanni especially), and simply enjoying the laughter, love, and crazy moments with college friends.
Thank you, Anthony, for your kind soul and for our time long ago. You are forever in my heart and never forgotten since Rutgers…and I will continue to remember you as you were then.
The Clothier Hall Family (myself, Daniela, Robia, Mira, Keith) will miss you dearly! May you rest in peace.

Anthony and I met through mutual friends in college about 30 years ago. He was a great friend and a great human being and someone we all looked up to. Whether we were talking about Seinfeld, The Sopranos, or sports, he always had great takes on everything and I will really miss his amazing sense of humor and unique perspective. I send my deepest condolences, thoughts and prayers to Kellie, Kyle, and Anthony's entire family. I will always cherish my friendship with Anthony--Love ya buddy.

Anthony and I were great friends in college and for many years afterwards. We were roommates one year and stayed close for a long time. I have so many fond memories of playing sports, poker, drinking a beer (or a few) sharing jokes and talking about life. We had a few epic trips to Florida, staying at his family condo along with our other friends. We unfortunately had lost touch in recent years. I was so saddened to hear about his loss. Deepest condolences to Anthony’s wife, son, mother, brothers and the rest of Anthony’s wonderful family. I’m sorry I won’t be able to attend the services as I have moved to California. I have been mourning Anthony’s loss and fondly remembering him.
