Obituary of Mark C. Beyrent
Mark Christian Beyrent, 70, dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and friend - passed away at Morristown Memorial Hospital on Friday, June 9, 2023.
Mark was born to Francis J. and Nora Sharpe Beyrent in Morristown, NJ on April 26, 1953. He graduated from Bayley-Ellard High School in 1971 before attending Morris County Vocational School for trade school to become a union carpenter. He began the Apprentice program in 1976, completed his training in 1980 and joined the United Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners of America, as a Journeyman for Local 620 in Madison, New Jersey. In 2009, after 33 years as a Union Carpenter, Mark retired. In April of 2019, he received a Certificate of Recognition for 40 years of service with the UBCJA.
Mark met the love of his life, Jenifer Mowbray, when they both attended Bayley-Ellard High School. They married in September of 1976. In 1982, Mark and Jenifer had their first child, Caryl “Cary”. Almost 4 years later, they welcomed their second child, Christian “Chris”, into the world. Mark worked hard everyday to make sure his family was provided for and taken care of.
When Mark wasn’t working he enjoyed surf fishing on Long Beach Island while on vacation with his family and extended family, tinkering in his basement, working outside at home, and most of all, spending time with his family. In his retirement, he enjoyed his long walks and reading lots of books. Although he loved his children, his grandchildren were truly his pride and joy, as they brought him so much happiness.
He is pre-deceased by his parents Francis J. and Nora Sharpe Beyrent, brothers Christian, Francis, and Peter Beyrent and sister Anita Ogden; and his adoring in-laws Thomas and Caryl Mowbray. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Jenifer (Mowbray) Beyrent , his daughter Caryl Sambrato (Anthony), his son Christian Beyrent (Amie), his four cherished grandchild - Aurora (Rory), Thomas, Colton, and Abigail (Abby), his brothers Garrett and Timothy Beyrent, his sisters Lela Callaremi and Noree Barilla, as well as many brother in-laws and sister in-laws and nieces and nephews.
Memorial visitation is at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue (at Glenbrook Road), Morris Plains, NJ on Friday, June 16, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
