To Steve and Family. My heartfelt condolences on the passing of William. Of what I have read in his obituary, he sounded like an incredible man who spread his love and warmth to all that knew him. My dearest Ann and Family - There will be no shortage of outpouring for this consistently marvelous, unique, quintessentially loving man. His loss is mammoth because of the amount of holes he filled with that love - with a glance, a word, a gentle touch, or the hugs which will, no doubt, be mentioned exponential times over. His greatest legacy is his immeasurable generosity of that love, with which he blessed us all. The ripple effect of that love will never be known; how we were each better for knowing him cannot be quantified; whose lives we may have enhanced because he enhanced ours is beyond our imagination. I knew him years ago, have never spoken to him since, and have loved him as deeply through these years as I did in the ones we saw each other. And I do not think - I know - he continued loving me too. Sweet, sweet Ann - 60 years of the most beautiful team. He was able to share all of that love because you yourself are love, and your beautiful dance together enriched us all. I am so terribly sorry for you pain. This much sadness can only result from receiving love that truly felt otherworldly to me. I have always thought that both you and Bill were angels masquerading as a people. I am quite certain heaven's standing ovation is still in progress. All my love, Juli
