Rest in peace Uncle Pyare! Those were the days u n I used to shadow judo/boxing during ur months long visit' from Ur Army days, goin 2 the movies n one of ur favorite one " Anand " n the famous quote in that movie(which we talked about during ur visit on Dad's 13th day). All seems like Yesterday!! Here is the quote Zindagi aur maut uparwale ke haath mein hai, jahanpanaah. Hum sab toh rangmanch ki kathputliyan hain jinki dor uparwale ki ungliyon mein bandhi hain. Kab kaun kaise uthega, yeh koi nahin bata sakta." Translation: "Life and death are in the hands of the Almighty, sir. In Loving Memory of Dr. Sunandan B. Singh Dr. Sunandan B. Singh, a pillar of love and care in our family, has departed this world, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and kindness. He passed away surrounded by the love of his nephew, Ajay Singh, niece, Sunanda Singh and her husband Michael Williams and nephew Dr Sanjay Singh. Dr. Singh's presence brought joy and solace to our lives, and his absence will be keenly felt. His memory will forever remain alive in our hearts, a constant reminder of the warmth he shared with all who knew him. He now reunites with his older brothers, Ajit and Vilas Singh, in the embrace of heaven, where their spirits can continue to watch over us. In the tapestry of our lives, Dr. Sunandan B. Singh's thread was one of unconditional love and selflessness. We bid farewell to a loving uncle, a caring soul, and a remarkable human being. May his soul find eternal peace and may his memory continue to inspire us to be as loving and giving as he was. Rest in peace, dear Dr. Sunandan B. Singh.

He was as you have described him. A gentle man, a seeking scientist, a gracious host, a subtle humorist, a dedicated worker, a family lover. I admired his weekly fast, his spiritual tone, his grilled corn, his comradeship, his recipe for yoghurt, his quiet presence. Though we lost touch after his ascension to Bergen County, I never lost my fond recollection of his person nor his work. A remarkable man and friend that I have had the pleasure of knowing. Dr. Singh and I were "roommates " at the then State Medical Examiners Office back in the 1980's!!, sharing an office on the first floor. I could tell then that he was a special and unique soul that enjoyed his life, family, and his profession. He was so diligent and compassionate in every case he did. He respected all life and it showed through his work and everyday behavior. He was a true gentleman though he had this sense of humor that was so witty and devilish at the same time. He and his wife Soshi always made me and my husband feel like family which was so special to us both. I am so sad to hear this news and forever grateful for his friendship. He will be so missed. Our heartfelt condolences to Soshi, Reina, Sam and grandchildren. May you rest in peace Dr. Singh.

As a Detective, Sargent & Lieutenant with the Bergen County Sheriff's Office Crime Scene Unit. It was my honor & pleasure to know, learn and work with Dr. Singh for many years R.I.P. friend prayers for your family!

As a detective for the Bergen County Prosecutor Office I had many occasions to work with Dr. Singh. He was the consummate professional and a true gentleman. He was extremely dedicated to the work and the way that he conducted himself was nothing less than inspiring. Dr. Singh was a remarkable and talented human being, and also possessed a great sense of humor. It was an honor and privilege to be associated with him. Those of us who knew him feel diminished by his passing, but we carry wonderful memories of a great man. May he rest in peace.
