Obituary of Byram J. Magol
~~Byram J. Magol age 93, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2017. Mr. Magol was born in Karachi, Pakistan. He came to the United States in 1948 to attend graduate school at Columbia's School of Engineering where he met his beloved wife, Adeline, while she was attending Columbia's School of Education. Byram was a fossil-fuel steam generation power plant designer of great note having spent most of his work life as a senior design specialist and project manager for the Foster Wheeler Corporation.
He is survived by his adoring daughter, Sharin Russell, and her husband, David Russell, of Boston and his devoted son, Byron Magol, and his wife, Marsha Magol, and his grandson, Jeffrey Magol, of Tampa. He is survived by a younger sister, Gulcher Mobed, from England and a younger brother, Bicaji Magol, from Karachi. He loved the game of golf, Yahtzee with his friends and was devoted to traveling to, and waiting for, his family to visit. Anyone who knew him knew he was kindness and gentility personified.
