Obituary of Clara Rose Markovich
Clara Rose Markovich, 97, a long time resident of Madison NJ, died September 24, 2023 at home.
Clara was born on May 21, 1926 to Anna and Carl Blaine in Newark NJ. Clara grew up in Hillside NJ and graduated from Hillside High School. After marrying her husband Joseph Markovich Clara moved to Madison NJ where they raised two sons Douglas and Wayne. Clara was a secretary at the Morris County Prosecutor’s office and St. Barmabas Medical Center before retiring with her husband to West Palm Beach Florida. Clara was a fine artist, avid gardiner and quilter. Clara was predeceased by by her loving husband Joseph and son Douglas, her brother Carl Blaine and his wife Dolores Blaine. She is survived by her son Wayne and his wife Dolores. As well as her granddaughter Katherine and her husband Timothy Brady and her great granddaughter Brynn Brady.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Glaucoma Foundation at www.glaucomafoundation.org.
