Obituary of Stuart Owen Kerievsky

Stuart Owen Kerievsky (6/26/41), of Randolph, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2023.

Stuart was born in Brooklyn, New York to Ethel and Samuel Kerievsky.

He met the love of his life, Carol, and they were engaged after just 17 days of dating. They were married for 52 years, until Carol’s death in September 2019.

Stuart began his career at IBM, and later become the president and owner of Carol Systems, where he enjoyed supporting many small businesses with their technology needs. He was an avid lover of opera, reading and sweets. But what he was most proud of were his three children, Ali Padawer (Andy), David Kerievsky (Rebecca), and Becky Brooks (Sam), and his five grandchildren, Jesse Kass, Lily Kass, Sadie Kerievsky, Annabelle Brooks and William Brooks.

Stuart is also survived by his brother Harvey Kerievsky (Leslie) and his sister Wendi Kerry.

A funeral service will be held at Dangler Funeral Home in Morris Plains, New Jersey on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at 12:00PM. The burial will follow at Freedom Hebrew Cemetery, where Stuart will lay to rest next to his love, Carol.

The family requests that donations be made in Stuart’s honor to UJA-Federation of New York (Home » UJA-Federation of New York (ujafedny.org), American Friends of Magen David Adom (afmda.org), Zaka Israel (zakaworld.org), or any other organization providing support for Israel.

Shiva will be held at Stuart’s home following the burial, as well as Monday and Tuesday from 4:00PM-7:00PM.
