Lola and the entire Szobota Family, Roe and I are very sorry for your loss and we wish you the best and dearest of memories of him. We have been next door neighbors for over 40 years. I first met John when he was working hard putting up the deck to their house. Obviously, we were a lot younger back then. Over those 40 years together we saw our kids grow up, shared birthdays, weddings, parties, and even a little golfing. So, it is difficult to remember just one instance that stands out in our relationship over the 40 years. However, I fondly remember sitting separately in our adjoining driveways during the COVID epidemic having drinks and snacks, listening to music, and having conversations just about everything. John was a good friend and neighbor, and we were sorry to see him, and Lola move. But we knew that the move was the best for him. John’s passing has also left a hole in our hearts and he will be sorely missed. John and Rosemarie Trombetta

Lola and Family and Friends of John: We are very sorry for your loss and we wish you the best and dearest of memories of him. I remember meeting John at Bob and Cyndy's wedding. We got talking, and John told me he was a chemist. I was immediately impressed; hadn't met many chemists in my life (except at university). I immediately thought of the vintage Monsanto ad that said "Without chemicals, life itself would be impossible." But, clowning around and thinking about dessert, I said to John "Hey, without chemistry, dessert itself would be impossible" and he said "That's right!", and we laughed a good laugh together... and got some dessert. Lola, Josefina and I wish to express our condolences to you and the entire Szobota family for the passing of John. I met John while working at the Board of the EACMA Club for several years where he volunteered so many hours of his retirement to organizing our regular lunches. From these interactions with him I learned of John's qualities as a great human being.May he rest in peace.We also pray that God will give you peace and strength to handle these difficult moments. I remember John when my husband Morey was alive and we went to the Exxon luncheons, even though we had moved to Pennsylvania. He was a kind man and VP who organized the club luncheons with his wife Lola. I'm very sorry for his loss and pray that he is now with our Lord, relaxed in His everlasting arms!
