Obituary of Charles J. Forsythe
Charles J Forsythe of Morris Plains, NJ passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024. Charles had been diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis in March 2020 and was on track for a lung transplant. He was 48.
After attending Seton Hall Preparatory School ('93) Charles graduated from Notre Dame University ('97), and went on to get his MBA from Strayer University.
An adventurous traveler, Charles set a goal to visit 40 countries by the age of 40 and made it easily, and was on a good track for 50 by 50. His easy-going nature was only tested during Notre Dame football games. He enjoyed his 10+ years as a volunteer for the Interfaith Food Pantry, and was recently finding strength and hope through the Garden State Pulmonary Fibrosis Support Group.
Charles was preceded in death by his mother Barbara Forsythe. He is survived by his devoted wife Heather Molnar; his father Charles Forsythe; his sister Sharon Woolley, her husband Norm Woolley, and their children Sutton and Dean. He is also survived by his cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends around the world.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Charles's memory to Interfaith Food Pantry https://www.mcifp.org/
