Obituary of Lorraine H. Jordan

Lorraine H. Jordan, 86, of Whippany passed away on January 24, 2024 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville. 

Born and raised in Morris Townhip, Lorraine resided in Whippany for the past 39 years. 

Lorraine graduated from Morristown High School in 1955. She worked as a Legal Assistant in the Morris County Superior Court System; supporting several judges, including Judge Broderick and Judge Stein. She later went on to the State Appellate Division; supporting Judge Michels. 

Lorraine is survived by her sister, Eunice A. Sage, of Morris Plains; as well as her nieces and nephews, Karen and Bill Reilly, Janet and Ken Gregg, and Steve and Abby Sage; and her great-nieces and nephews, Steffan and Rachel Paz, Allison, Sara, Jacob, and Trisha Gregg, and Addie and Nate Sage. Lorraine was predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Hattie (Mesler) Jordan. 

Services for Lorraine will be held at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery, Morristown. 

Arrangements were under the care of Dangler Funeral Home, Morris Plains.
