Obituary of Janice Mary Foley

Janice Mary Foley, 84 years old of Morris Plains, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home on the morning of February 8^th, 2024.

She was born July 3^rd, 1939, to Gordon Scott Fyfe and Rose Mary D’Agostino. She graduated Morristown Highschool in 1957. She married the love of her life, William DeVane Foley, on April 29^th, 1961. William built their home on a plot of land in Morris Plains where they welcomed their three beautiful daughters and made endless memories. This house became the center for hundreds of family gatherings and countless sleepovers with her five grandchildren: Skyler Prideaux, Sarah and Christopher Holick, Tyler, and Emily Kruger.

 Janice was an animal lover, avid gardener, baker, and crafter. She was famous for her birthday cakes adorned with flowers from her garden. She loved to go shopping and was coined “professional shopper” by her friends and family. Janice was also a member of the Morristown Womens Club which allowed her to have an active role in the local community.

Janice is survived by her loving husband William DeVane Foley and her three daughters Janet Prideaux, Joann Holick, and Jennifer Kruger.  

The family is holding a memorial service at Danglers Funeral Home in Morris Plains, New Jersey on Saturday February 17^th, 2024, from 11am-2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Huberts Animal Welfare Center would be greatly appreciated.
