Joyce was one of Madison’s lovely first ladies. I remember attending a Historical Society event with Gary and Joyce at FDU and she showed poise to all those attending the affair. She gave of herself shopping for the Madison Eagle Fund for those in need. While expertly volunteering with me for the T. J. Martell Foundation she had cash and checks coming at her from all directions; all done with cool, calm and a smile. Always giving time to whoever wanted to chat with her . May Jesus hold her in his arms for all the good works she performed on earth. Rest in Peace my friend. Marie Toto and family

It's hard to believe Joyce, our Campbell soup kid, has passed. It's been a long time since I was at one of her tap dancing recitals where she really moved and showed off those gams! And that smile! And shopping with her at the Short Hills Mall when baby Gary decided it would be more fun in the fountain. (It was December.). She stayed calm, but I delivered my firstborn very soon after! We lost touch, but memories never faded. Teaching her how to knit that first sweater for Gary! Playing bridge in the dorm and later when the kids were babies and we got that break once a month! Good times. I miss you Joyce and wish you, Gary, peace and sending prayers of comfort to you and your family. Hugs, Helen
