Obituary of Sherry T. DiDomenico
Sherry DiDomenico, 73, passed away peacefully at Morristown Medical Center on April 22, 2024. She was born in Orange, New Jersey and resided in Morris Plains for the past 44 years.
Sherry graduated from Mountain High School and went on to attend Newark State College which is currently Kean University. She graduated in 1972 and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education. She worked as a Pre-school teacher at Lafayette Learning Center in the Morris School District for 25 years until her retirement in 2020. She was a member of the Pleasantdale Presbyterian Church, West Orange, NJ.
Sherry is survived by her devoted husband, Guy T. DiDomenico and her loving children, Sara DiDomenico and Brian DiDomenico and her cherished grandchild, Nico DiDomenico. She is also survived by her sister, April Flanagan.
Family and friends are welcome to gather on Monday, April 29, 2024, from 2-4 pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Ave., Morris Plains, NJ. A Memorial Service will follow at 4 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request that donations may be made in Sherry’s memory to the Foundation for Morristown Medical Center (F4mmc.org) in one of the following designations: Carol G. Simon Cancer Center, Inpatient Hospice and Palliative Care or Oncology Patient Support Fund.
