Like Richard, I married into our large extended family. His wife, Virginia and my late wife, Sue, were first cousins. We always met at some holiday family gathering like Christmas, Thanksgiving, Chinese New Year or a birthday of graduation party. While some played Mahjong, he just seemed to enjoy other people’s company. I will always remember Richard as a good man, kind and gentle, and loved by his family.

I had wonderful times hiking and playing pickleball with Rich. It was a pleasure knowing him. He will be truly missed. May his soul rest in peace.

Dear Lee family, Our family will surely miss him. He introduced Hannah and I to Pickleball and we spent a lot of enjoyable time together. We enjoyed eating and drinking and just enjoying life. Our kids grew up together and had some great times at the Nabisco Box at Brendan Byrne Arena. In later years during retirement, our friend Joe introduced us to ROMEO (Retired Old Men Eating Out). We had some great times eating out. We will sorely miss his sense of humor, wit, wisdom and kindness. May he Rest in Peace. Rich Troy and Family
