I am a lifetime card carrying member of the Gene fan club. Gene, and a crew of buddies, agreed to help us younger men with grace church building and grounds. I knew nothing and they knew everything. His steady sound advice allowed us to bring the building back from neglect. He also taught me what it means to be a good man everyday to everyone you meet. Miss you Gene.
