Obituary of Edward Sullivan

~~Edward Sullivan, 79, passed away on August 8, 2017 at his home in Cedar Knolls. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, and moved to Highland Lakes, NJ, in 1969. In 1980 he moved to Cedars Knolls where he lived for the past 37 years.
Ed was an entrepreneur. He founded Brothers Novelty Enterprises in Hanover Township. He was the President of the company until his retirement in 2015. He proudly served his country in the Navy during the Korean War, stationed on the USS Powers Destroyer.
Ed is survived by his beloved wife, Louise Sullivan (Palmieri), and his children, Eddie and Joan Sullivan, Lori and Johnny Giampolo, Danny Sullivan, Vincent Nodoro, Jr., Leann and John Yannuzzi, Kim and Steven Bloom in addition to his 15 cherished grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Pando.
Ed created many wonderful memories with his grandchildren at the shore. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends on his boat, “Capricorn One”. He was always finding ways to make the grandchildren laugh.
Family and friends are welcome to gather on Sunday, August 13, 2017, from 2-6 pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Ave., Morris Plains, NJ 07950. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 10:00 am at Notre Dame of Mount Carmel Cedar Knolls, NJ. Interment will follow at North Hardyston Cemetery, Hamburg, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made in Ed’s memory to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital (www.stjude. org/donate).
