Obituary of Alfred J. LiPira, Jr.
Alfred J. Lipira, Jr., 93, passed away on September 9, 2024, at Ann’s Choice Senior Living Community, Warminster, PA. He was born in Newark, NJ, and lived in Florham Park prior to moving to East Hanover ten years ago.
Alfred graduated from Newark College of Engineering in 1958 with a Bachelor of Science Degree and worked as an electrical engineer until his retirement in 2000. He proudly served his country during the Korean War in the US Army as a Specialist Third Class.
He is survived by his sons, Michael LiPira and Jeffrey LiPira. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Rachel Braender LiPira as well as nieces, Kathy Ellis Bruyn and Lisa Ellis Gates. He was predeceased by his wife, Ruth Dorothy LiPira, in 2019.
Family and friends are welcome to gather on Monday, September 16, 2024, from 5-8pm at Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler Funeral Home, 106 Main St., Madison, NJ. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at 11am at Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Pluckemin, NJ.
