Obituary of Vincent DiFalco, Jr.

Please share a memory of Vincent to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Vincent DiFalco Jr., 97, of Morris Plains, NJ, who left us on October 9th, 2024.

Born and raised in Morristown, Vincent moved to Morris Plains in 1956, where he built a life filled with family, community, and love. He was a proud graduate of Morristown High School, Class of 1945. His senior year was marked by service and patriotism as he enlisted in the United States Army Air Corps, bravely serving his country in WWII immediately after graduation.

Vincent, along with his father, co-owned DiFalco's Barber Shop, a cherished local business that began in the early 1920s. His presence there touched the lives of many, creating bonds that spanned generations. Beyond the barbershop, Vincent was a talented musician, sharing his passion for the piano at countless events over the years. His music was a gift to those fortunate enough to hear it.

Vincent is survived by his beloved wife, Rose, with whom he shared a beautiful life. He leaves behind his children, Vincent and his wife Michele, Rosemary DeFuria and her husband Bob, and Marina Cecere. His legacy also lives on in his cherished grandchildren: Joseph and his wife Sarah, Carla and her husband Matthew, Matthew and his wife Arielle, Christopher and his wife Danielle, and Nicole. Vincent was blessed with four great-grandchildren, Gianna, Gabriella, Guiliana, and Brantley, who brought him immense joy. Vincent was predeceased by his grandson, Anthony.

A Funeral Mass will be held for Vincent on Tuesday, October 15th, 2024 at 10:30am at St. Virgil's Church, 250 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains. Entombment will follow at Holy Rood Mausoleum, Morristown.

Vincent’s life was one filled with love, dedication, and a commitment to his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his memory will forever live in the hearts of those he touched.

May he rest in peace.
