Obituary of Francis Raudelunas
Francis V. Raudelunas, 89, of Madison, NJ, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2024, at his home. Born in Lowell, MA, Frank made Madison his home for the past 22 years, having previously resided in Plainfield, NJ.
A graduate of Lowell Technological Institute (now the University of Massachusetts - Lowell) with a BS in Chemistry in 1956, Frank dedicated much of his professional life to technical sales. He spent 18 years working for Ingredimax of Washington, NJ, and previously worked at ChemMark and National Starch. His long and successful career reflected his intelligence, work ethic, and commitment to excellence.
Frank was a proud veteran of the United States Army and a faithful member of St. Vincent Martyr Church in Madison, NJ, where he contributed to his community and lived out his strong sense of faith.
Frank was predeceased by his beloved wife, Dolores in 2004, and his three brothers, Anthony, John, Joseph, and sister Anne. He is survived by his two children, Lisa Raudelunas Hiscano (Peter) of Madison, NJ, and Gregory Raudelunas of Morris Plains, NJ, as well as four cherished grandchildren: Peers, Matthew, Jane and Austin. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
In addition to his professional achievements, Frank had a deep love for life. He was an avid skier as he was raising his family, a lover of the theater and music, and always enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. The New Jersey shore was one of his favorite places, where he spent many peaceful hours on the beach, enjoying nature and making memories with his family.
Frank lived his life as a kind, compassionate citizen and patriarch, always putting the needs of his family first and showing genuine care for others. His greatest joy was spending time with his children and grandchildren, and he took immense pride in being part of their lives. His kind heart and commitment to those he loved will forever be remembered by all who knew him.
A Funeral Mass will be held in his honor on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 10:00 am at St. Vincent Martyr in Madison, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Union County College Foundation, Raudelunas Family Scholarship at www.ucc.edu.
Frank’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him. His legacy of love, joy, and service to others will never be forgotten.
