Obituary of Joseph G. Cisek

~~Joseph “Joe” G. Cisek, 97, of Madison, passed away at home on August 25, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Newark, Joe resided in Madison for the past 55 years. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
Joe worked at Bell Laboratories in Murray Hill for over 40 years. He was also a member of St. Vincent Martyr Church in Madison.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Joan; along with his five devoted children, Michael Cisek, and his wife, Jeni, Patricia Kalita, and her husband, Walter, Barbara Jones, and her husband, Chris, Stephen Cisek, and Daniel Cisek. He is also survived by his cherished six grandchildren, and his dear nephew. Joe was predeceased by his beloved sister, Jennie Prugno.
Family and friends are welcome to gather on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 4-8pm at Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler Funeral Home, 106 Main Street, Madison. A Funeral Mass for Joe will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 10:00am at St. Vincent Martyr Church, 26 Green Village Road, Madison. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
