Obituary of Janet P. Baker
Janet "Jan" Baker (1949-2024), loving wife, devoted friend, and successful businesswoman passed away on November 28, 2024.
Born in Oak Park, Jan moved to New Jersey to complete her MBA at the start of a long and successful career in Western Electric, AT&T, and Lucent Technologies.
Always generous with her time and enthusiasm, Jan also involved herself in volunteer organizations including the Garden Club of Madison, the Friends of the Madison Public Library, and St. Vincent’s Church Choir.
Jan is survived by her husband Chris, her sisters Barbara Keefner and Robin Mikel, her brothers David and Andrew Pechous, and their families.
A Funeral Mass for Jan will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 10:00am at St. Vincent Martyr Church, 26 Green Village Road, Madison. A Green Burial Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Susan G. Komen breast cancer organization.
