Obituary of Edward J. Joyce

~~Edward J. Joyce, 86, of Randolph, NJ, passed away on Oct. 08, 2017.

Visiting will be on Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2017 from 4:00pm – 7:00pm at Dangler Funeral Home, 600 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains.  A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017 at St. Virgil’s Church, 250 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains.

Edward is survived by his loving wife, Irene; his devoted son, Michael, both of Randolph, NJ; his beloved sisters, Margaret and Patricia Morgan; his dear brother, Thomas, of MA, as well as many cherished cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Edward graduated from Boston College with a degree in Business Administration.  Edward was a regional sales manager for the Allianz/ Fireman’s Fund Insurance Companies for nearly 35 years.   After retiring, he stayed active teaching CPCU/ CLU and AARP Fifty-Five Alive courses, preparing tax returns for the AARP Tax-Aide program, and working for the Morris County Park Commission at Flanders Valley Golf Course and the Morris County Board of Elections. 

Edward was also a veteran of the Korean War.
