I have bought barn wood frames from Dennis as Christmas and birthday gifts for my wife for the past seven years, the entire time we have been together. It is the gift she most looks forward to every year, especially in the last 3 years, when I have been able to insert a picture of our young son. I always looked forward to visiting Dennis and Susan at the Brooklyn Flea Market to inspect every frame on the shelves, finding just the right ones. Even last year, after we moved to Los Angeles, Dennis worked with me over email, sending me pictures of the frames he had built and shipping 4 selections to me. My wife was delighted to know the tradition had continued. I had just sent Dennis an email last month to ask about this year's order. Susan, I'm glad we have been able to connect since and my sincere condolences for your loss. Dennis, thank you for playing such a beautiful role in our lives. Your memory and beautiful craftsmanship lives on throughout our home! I'm sure many others can say the same. Brendan Cahill

Dennis at the 1992 Cleveland Pez Convention along with Nancy Guancione (Gyumolcs), John LaSpina and Kathleen Eovino. Those were some really fun times. Dennis was such a great person. He will be so missed.

Dear Bro, Dennis you left us way to soon, however you certainly made an impact on a ton of people. It was evident the other night when we all met to say goodbye to you. You touched my family in a way that is hard to describe. Jason and Mandy loved you very much as did their spouses. My wife, Hollie, loved you too. Her heart is broken. Thanksgiving and Christmas will never be the same. Christmas will be upon us soon and you will truly be missed. Last night we took Melissa and Susan to your favorite restaurant. We set a place for you. The chair at the end of the table remained empty. I know you were watching us. You will not suffer and worry any more. I love you Dennis. Till we meet again. Buck

Susan, I called Dennis about three weeks ago, but he didn't answer and now both Gary and I are deeply saddened to hear about his passing. We are very, very sorry for your loss. We've known Dennis for 8 years and hundreds of great conversations later, still are learning of his many talents ( guitar? ). His laugh, generosity, many common interests we shared, and amicable spirit will be greatly missed. Neither Gary nor I slept Thanksgiving night finding it all hard to believe and feeling an immense sorrow, loss, and void of our friendship. Many sympathies to you and his larger than we knew family. Dennis was one of the coolest guys we knew, so this news hit like a rock. Still trying to process the loss but Dennis was a great friend, a real joy all the time. In this life you meet a lot of people and Melissa we are truly blessed for meeting your dad. Susan, we have no words but saying sorry for your loss does not seem like enough, but we are truly sorry. I, John will surely miss our coffee and Chipotle runs, as well as the nonsense conversations we had on most weekends. I know your spirit is in a good place, so go in peace my friend----- no no no I will not cry Love you man John and Avian. Darn it, I need a tissue

Uncle D, You were the funniest and greatest Uncle anyone could have asked for as a kid and an adult! I love you so much!
