Loving Mother and Volunteer
Susan E. (Buhler) Larsen, 95, formally of Tucson AZ, and Nutley NJ, passed away on Nov. 4, 2017, at the Morris View Healthcare Center. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Sophia Buhler and the beloved wife of the late James Larsen.
Susan graduated from Nyack Missionary College and was an active member of the Brookdale Baptist Church. She worked as the Vice Principal at the Brookdale Christian School. When she moved to Arizona in 1980, she became an active member of the Del Norte Baptist Church. She was a dedicated volunteer, teaching Sunday school and DVBS. She also volunteered at Awana’s and the Salvation Army.
She is survived by her three sons, James, Paul, and Stephen, her step- daughter Grace, eleven grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, William, her daughter, Susan, and her step- daughter, Joan.
Family and friends are welcome to gather on Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 2 to 4 pm with a Celebration of Life Service at 3 pm at Burroughs, Kohr & Dangler Funeral Home, 106 Main St. Madison NJ 07940. Interment is private.
