Obituary of Dr. Denise Jenne, PhD.

Denise L. Jenne, 62, died in Florham Park, N.J., on Dec. 17, 2017.

Ms. Jenne was born in Hoboken, N.J., and graduated from Hillsborough High School. She attended Livingston College and attained her Ph.D. from Rutgers School of Criminal Justice.

She was a Walter C. Russell scholar, a Ralph Juppe scholar and a recipient of an AAUW Incentive for Mature Women Grant. Ms. Jenne taught at Kean, Rutgers and Montclair State Universities. After retiring from teaching she authored a children's book.

Ms. Jenne is survived by her sister, Helene Berk and husband, Marc; niece, Rachel Otterson and husband, Thomas, and their daughter, Annalise; and nephew, Joseph Berk. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Adriana Jenne. Donations can be made to The Guthrie Center.
