I was sorry to hear about Rose passing away. Her dad and my mother were cousins and Rose was my Confirmation sponsor.
We grew up about 10 blocks from each other and saw each other often.
She and Neil were so good to me and I am so sorry that we lost touch in the last few years.
To her family, please know that I care.

Roses are red. They signify BEAUTY and LOVE and for me, the JOY in life. That is what Rose Sanzari means to me. She is my second mom growing up as a youngster in Parsippany, New Jersey, allowing me in as another part of the Sanzari clan and teaching me how to cook! So many wonderful, fond, delightful and absolutely delicious memories will I always have of Mrs. Rose Sanzari and the entire Sanzari family. My deepest condolences and sympathies to all, especially my dearest friend, Felicia Sanzari-Chernesky and her unbelievably, incredibly beautiful family (Eddie, Toby, Jess, Jeff, Georgie Girl, AND Dave!). I love you ALL so very, very much. Please know that I am with you now and always. And I’m forever holding Rose’s hand. Rest in eternal peace my dear.

When my sweet Aunt Rose entered the hospital after having the stroke, she saw her brother, my beloved Dad who passed away in February 2015 and called out “Tell him to go back”. It wasn’t her time. It was one of the rare times my Dad was early for anything. Then on February 23, 3 years to the very day that my Dad went home to the Lord, my Aunt Rose followed, close to the same hour and of the same cause as my Dad. I don’t find this coincidental. I find it a great comfort. I’ll bet knowing that the loved ones she saw as she entered the ER were waiting for her was a comfort to her too. Aunt Rose was my Godmother and, along with her family, among the biggest and best part of my life. I have no doubt whatsoever that we will all be reunited. But in the meantime, my heart goes out to all of us who have temporarily lost her wonderful presence in our lives, her humor, her laughter, her wisdom and her love. Her gravy! We love you, Aunt Rose - and will remember you and be thankful you were in our lives every day until we meet again!

To Rosey's daughters, I want to say how she adored, loved and so proud she was of you all.
To her grandchildren, she cherished each and everyone of you and couldn't have loved you more.
To her sons-in- law, you made her so happy knowing how you treated her and her daughters with such love and respect.
I am sure you know what Rosey meant to us four girls and will always hold her dear in our hearts. She started and ended our days with smiles and laughter. Our Friday nights were the best times ever and we will always keep her memories alive in each of us always. Her smile was her greatest asset along with her wonderful sense of humor, sometimes we laughed till our stomachs felt like they would burst..
We thank you all for sharing her with us for only a short time but she is forever in our hearts.
I know that so many memories of her will comfort each and ever one of you, and know how her love will surround you always..
Love,
Sabina, Alba, Sophie and Marie (aka her Posse)

It's so ironic that someone so small in stature could leave such a void in our lives. If anyone should have lived well past 80 it was the young at heart Aunt Rose. Just past her last birthday she enriched Kathy and I again with love and infectious laughter. Making her laugh was our personal goal and she never failed to deliver affirmatively. She could be relied upon as a straight shooter, counseling with gentle loving sincerity during life's speed bumps. During personal difficulties she carried on with exemplary strength and dignity inspiring all who loved her.
To say she will be missed is a gross understatement. The faithless have much to be angry for in losing Rose. To those in Christ the belief we will meet again in perfect heath and company gives us great peace. Knowing we will share laughter again with her gives us glad anticipation. We also know that while Aunt Rose was small in stature among the living in our Lords presence she looks up to no one else!
See you later Aunt Rose,
Loving Nieces and Nephews

My sweet sis-in-law has gone home to be with the Lord & now she will see all her loved ones who are in heaven. I know she is extremely happy. But another part of me is gone and I will miss her so much. I wish I could have traded places with her. However, we can be happy for her even though we are so sad.
Jesus said "I am the Resurrection & the Life. He who believes in me will never die but will have life everlasting"
Goodbye Rosie, I will see you soon. Kiss Tony for me.
