November. I just learned about Sue's passing and am so sorry. There are so many elementary school, junior and senior high school memories that I have of our escapades together. All wonderful. I am so sorry to hear of Susan's passing. David and Sam you were the lights of her life and my heart goes out for you both at this sad time. She touched the lives and hearts of many and I am very grateful for the years that I had with her. May she rest in peace!

I am very sorry to hear about Susan's passing. Susan and I are first cousins who had never met until she reached out and called sometime around Spring of 97. My family got together twice later that year with Susan and her family, once here in Ohio and then had the pleasure of spending part of Christmas week with Susan, David and Samantha in New Jersey. We went skiing together and into NYC together. It was one of the most memorable Christmas's for my family. She showed me a family Bible, that said that our ancestral namesake was actually named Hoggins, not Hogan, prior coming to America. Susan hosted my son Alex and I one more time in the Summer of 2000 when we were in the area to see the Daily Show in NYC. I will always be very grateful to Susan for her reaching out to connect with my family and I. Susan was a warm and wonderful host, cousin, person and friend and I'm blessed and thankful to have known her.

Susan & I became friends a soon as she moved into our neighborhood. Having sons that were close in age we bonded over the challenges of raising boys. Our neighborhood was the best thing that happened for both of us. We laughed, cryed & supported each other thru life. Ours lives paralelled in many ways. We lived on different streets but our house numbers were both 19. Our birthdays were both on the 22nd. Her in Feb, mine in Sept. We both lost our husbands too soon. My dear friend, I will miss you but I know that you are at peace. Give the guys a hug for me.
